On August 22, 2009, my father, Jorge Enrique Restrepo Isaza Escobar, died in Temuco, Chile. All six of us siblings gathered to say goodbye. It was a mix of grief for our father's unexpected passing and joy at being together again, since two of us lived abroad. It was a magical farewell, all at my brother's house. There, a singing group formed for the funeral mass with one of his friends who plays guitar. Anyone who wanted to sing joined in, and that's how it all began. Something stirred within me, a desire to sing and play guitar. I returned to Colombia and asked my husband for a guitar for Mother's Day. And that's how I started learning guitar, without much dedication, because I was focused on my two children and the café we owned. In 2014, my husband was transferred to Ecuador, so we had to rent out the café, and there I decided to dedicate myself fully to music: guitar, singing, and songwriting. It was there that I wrote my first songs. And I was fortunate enough to join the church choir, and we sang at Mass. After two years, we returned to Colombia and reopened the café, and even opened another one. I put my passion aside again.
In May 2019, we moved to Villavicencio, again for my husband's job. And that's when I said, "Now, Lord, let me work for you on this musical project." As a graphic designer with a knack for drawing and writing, and with experience in sales, here I am, bringing to fruition a creative project made with so much love. May God's will be done in it.

Colombia, Bogotá 2019. Agreement for the production and recording of the first album, Genesis, with Andrés Calderón. I came across them (Union3 group) through Hector Tobo, a Colombian singer-songwriter. We have now completed three albums with them: Genesis, Exodus, and Leviticus.
